Saying sounds clearly
R is one of the last sounds kids learn and one of the hardest to fix. It's Linda's specialty. She helps with other tricky sounds too.
- R at the start: red, run
- R after vowels: car, bird
- R blends: tr, gr, str
- S, L, TH and more
Linda Gunn has spent 30 years helping kids say their R's loud and proud, and helping them learn to read, too.
Every session is one-on-one, full of games and practice, and built around your child.

Sounds and letters go hand in hand. Linda helps kids hear the sounds in words, match them to letters, and read with confidence.
R sounds different next to each vowel. Kids often master one and still get stuck on another, so Linda practices each one.
Kids move along at their own speed. Each step builds on the one before.
Linda finds out which R's are tricky and how your child says them now.
Tongue and mouth games until a clear R pops out.
"rrr"Add R to syllables, then real words.
"rabbit"Keep the R strong with more words around it.
"a red car"R shows up in stories, games, and chats at home and school, no thinking needed.
years of helping kids find their R
Hi! I'm Linda Gunn, a speech pathologist who has worked with kids for 30 years in schools and in private practice.
The R sound is my favorite puzzle. It's hard to see and hard to explain, so I break it into small steps that feel like games. Every little win gets a big cheer.
I also love helping kids learn to read. When a child understands the sounds inside words, reading starts to click.
